The Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) received notification from the U.S. Department of the Treasury that the Certified Development Financial Institutions Fund (the CDFI Fund) has certified the SBAC as one of 25 CDFI institutions in the State of Georgia. “The CDFI certification presents the SBAC with many opportunities and creates many possible new avenues for access to capital in the 16 counties included in our CDFI territory,” stated Tony O’Reilly, President. “The certification was the first hurdle. Now, we look to the future and how we can continue to better the economic outlook of our community.”
The SBAC, located at 111 E. Liberty, Suite 100 in Savannah, is a specialized, non-profit business development organization licensed by the U. S.
