Management & Technical Assistance
M&TA is offered to all SBAC borrowers. SBAC reviews business plans, financial statements, etc. and provides technical assistance on an as needed basis to ensure success of the enterprise. Such assistance includes but is not limited to: Assessing the clients business needs and capabilities; assisting the client in developing a loan request and in negotiating with lending institutions; monitoring the clients progress after receiving a loan, to encourage good management of the business, timely loan repayments, and to offer additional management assistance; providing referrals to potential small business owners to aid in obtaining needed technical assistance and guidance from other service providers including City of Savannah Economic Development initiatives.
