Welcome to the Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC). We provide loans and technical assistance for new and existing businesses in the Southeast Georgia and the Low Country of South Carolina.
The Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), certified by the U.S. Department of Treasury. Additionally, SBAC is a Community Advantage Lender and a Certified Development Company (CDC) licensed by the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and contracted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Georgia’s Department of Community Affairs (DCA), and the City of Savannah, to promote small business development through financing and technical assistance. We offer a wide variety of loan programs for new and existing businesses in our area.
SBAC can provide the following services for your business:
- Provision of debt and equity funds to new and existing businesses through the Savannah Regional Small Business Capital Fund.
- Provision of management and technical assistance to small and medium size businesses in all phases of their development.
The Small Business Assistance Corporation has been in full operation since September 1989 and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that reflects the makeup and business development interest of our market area. We prioritize service to women and minority owned business persons.
